We started this book after Mr Skip because we loved Micheal Morpurgo`s books. Kensukes Kingdom is about a boy called Michael that with his family got a boat (The Peggy Sue) and started to sail around the world, they had gone past Brazil when one night as Michael was steering the boat he and his dog fell off. He woke up on an island that he thought was uninhabited, his mother and father were gone he was very lonely, until he became close friends with the inhabitant Kensuke. Kensuke helped him find food ,water and eventually a way home.
What I think of this book
I think this book is amazing.
I like the way this book always leaves you wondering what happens next.
I like the words and the way these words are used.
I like the way every bit of this book is different and original.
And I love the way it leaves you wondering if it is true or not.
The start of the book is a bit slow at first, but I advise you not to stop at the start of this book but to keep reading. Its worth it !
